Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Kamleshwar Patel has issued instructions to make all perferfect arrangements in training and capacity building workshop of panchayat representatives under Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Yojana in Dussehra Maidan of BHEL on February 23.

He said that information about every aspect of Panchayati Raj and official process will be given extensively in the workshop.

Patel issued the instructions during review meeting for arrangements being made for the training programme.

Patel said that Sarpanch and Up-Sarpanch of all Gram Panchayat of Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions, one male and female panch (scheduled caste/ scheduled tribe) will take part in the workshop. Also, president and secretary of self help group working under Rural Livelihood Mission in each Gram Panchayat will be included.

He said that exhibition based on development journey of Panchayat Raj will be organised.

Training module and material will be made available by director, Panchayat Raj and CEO, MANREGA in the training. District wise registration of Panchayat  representatives will be carried out at programme venue.

Director, Panchayat Raj Urmila Shukla informed that film on Gram Panchayat Development Plan, Ideal Gram Panchayat and Innovation will be displayed in panchayat training and capacity building programme. Information about community programme will be given.

Noteworthy is that this is the second training programme in the state. Before this, similar training was held in Dhar district.
