Chhattisgarh Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources Ravindra Choubey, who was undergoing treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.
Choubey however didn’t return to Raipur but proceeded to national capital New Delhi to take rest at his daughter’s residence there. Official sources in the Congress informed that Choubey has completely recovered and will soon return to the state capital Raipur.
Till he is in the national capital, he would attend the important meetings, including the state cabinet by travelling from there, sources said.
Notable, Choubey suffered a mild cardiac arrest around a month ago. The 60-year-old politician fainted at a hotel in Lucknow and was admitted to SGPGI, Lucknow where he was kept in an Intensive Care Unit for about a fortnight.
Choubey suffered cardiac arrest while he was camping in Uttar Pradesh capital to campaign for party , mainly in Amethi and Rae Bareli Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies.
