In order to ease the tax collection process for the taxpayers based in the city, Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) is going to launch a mobile application for tax payment. The work is under process, the civic body officers said and added that the process would be completed by April.
Speaking more of the matter, the officer in- charge of the civic body said, “We are launching a mobile application to make tax payment easier for the tax payers. The work on updating the data is under process and we hope that the application would be launched in April. Aside from this, the tax payers would also get mobile text messages of dates and information updates regarding the status of the house tax payments.”
