Gurugram based leading Ed-tech startup NeoStencil, an established test prep platform for IAS, IES, GATE and other Government job exams has entered into partnership with a Kota based leading coaching Institute Motion Education for IIT JEE and NEET exams. NeoStencil will now also offer IIT-JEE and NEET courses online and live classroom to students, starting from April 2019.
Today, the test preparation market in India is estimated to be worth Rs 85,000 crore. With respect to the size of the market, almost 70 million students apply for Government jobs and nearly 2.5-3 million for JEE and NEET entrance exams combined every year. Since a good percentage of students start their preparation for these competitive exams Class V onwards, the market size of test preparation segment is much larger.
Students can now enroll to attend the real time classes, live, as and when they happen in the physical classroom at the Institute in Kota. Students can also access the recorded sessions to study at their own pace, interact seamlessly with the teaching assistants, counselors, appear for regular tests, attend problem-solving discussions and get a performance report periodically to track their progress.
Commenting on the development Kush Beejal (IIT BOMBAY), Co-founder NeoStencil said “After a successful 3+ years in the Govt job test prep, entering into JEE and NEET was a natural extension for NeoStencil. We are excited to start this journey with MOTION as our partner Institute for JEE and NEET exam preparation.”
With comprehensive learning for IIT/NEET exam now available online, students do not have to leave their regular schools to relocate to Kota or other metro cities and spend additional money on food and rent.
Nitin Vijay (IIT BHU), MD MOTION Education said, “There is no denying the fact that online learning is the future of education. We therefore want to be the early adopters in embracing technology for providing top quality IIT-JEE and NEET coaching.
By joining hands with NeoStencil, we will be able to replicate the real-time classroom batches to an online platform and ensure that aspirants from even the remotest corners of India can access the same classes which their peers attend in Kota.”
With its entry into the IIT/NEET segment, NeoStencil will be competing with the likes of Toppr, Vedantu, Embibe and Unacademy.
