PUVM seeks relaxation in filing GST returns

Monday, 05 August 2019 | PNS | Nainital

The Prantiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal (PUVM) state president Anil Goel said that the limit for registration under Goods and Services Tax (GST) should be increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 40 lakh. Talking to media persons after a meeting of the PUVM here, Goel said that some problems are being faced in filing GST returns due to some technical issues in the state. Considering this, the government should provide relaxation in the last date for filing GST. He said that a number of office bearers of the PUVM have raised questions about the functioning and importance of district development authorities. The suggestions, complaints and details of other issues received in the Nainital meet of the PUVM will be listed and shared with the state authorities soon, he said.

Earlier in the meeting, it was decided that the state working committee election would be announced by the end of this month.
