Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party president and UP Cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said that he was not angry either with Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath but with the prevailing system.
“It is wrongly projected that I am against Modi and Yogi. I am against the system which is against the poor, the downtrodden and the landless farmers,” Rajbhar said here on Sunday.
The SBSP chief said that his party was raising voice against those who committed crime against the poor and the downtrodden.
“I am not blaming Modi or Yogi for the state in which the poor find themselves. They (the poor) are being punished for no crime. They are being deprived of their rights. I am their voice,” Rajbhar said.
Hitting out at the Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party, Rajbhar said that these parties never treated Rajbhars as a political entity. “Now that we have proved our might, the opposition leaders are running after us,” he added.
Rajbhar clarified that he would support the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Lok Sabha election because they were allies.
“I had some issues but once I met BJP national president Amit Shah many of my views have changed,” he said.
