Shyampur police arrest escaped prisoner

After a long combing operation, Shyampur police arrested the absconding prisoner Parvez from forest area of Rasiabarh range of Haridwar forest division on Tuesday morning. The convict was hiding in the forest area after escaping from the authorities earlier.

Lot of buzz was created when the prisoner had managed to escape to forest area from Roshnabad jail after returning from hearing of his case in the court.

The Haridwar senior superintendent of police Senthil Avoodai K Raj S had himself launched the combing operation and a team was formed consisting of SP (City) Kamlesh Upadhyay who gave directions to special operation group (SOG) in-charge Rajeev Chauhan.

Speaking to this correspondent, the police station in-charge of Shyampur, Deepak  Kathait said the convict Parvez has been nabbed from the woods and sent to the district prison. It should be mentioned here that Parvez is involved in the Peeli Padav murder case.
