Special Secy fiat to pay scholarship in a week

Special Secretary at the Chief Minister’s Office Ramakant Singh has instructed to pay scholarship in a week under the skill development scheme in the Left Wing Extremism affected districts to the ITI-trained students.

Singh gave the instruction on Tuesday in the light of a complaint lodged by a student of Hazaribagh district during the 'Weekly Review' of the Chief Minister's Jan Samvad centre at Suchna Bhawan.

The nodal officer of the Department of Labour, Planning and Training informed that funds have been received from the central government and allotment is being sent to all districts today. The Special Secretary reviewed a total of 18 complaints lodged in the Jan samvad.

Mithilesh Kumar Thakur of Seraikela-Kharsawan was allotted a plot in Adityapur  by lottery on September 2011 under Housing Board Jamshedpur under Jharkhand Housing Board.  But today, even after eight years, possession has not been given to him. On this, Singh directed the complainant to take possession of the plot.

Suman Devi, the dependent wife of Binod Kumar of Giridih, who was killed in militant violence a year ago, was not giving jobs on ex-gratia and compassion.

 Giving information in this regard, the nodal officer of the district said that compensation has been paid to the dependent wife along with that an order has been passed for appointment in the meeting of the compassionate committee. Shiv Narayan Singh of Bokaro district had lodged a complaint in the Jan Samvad that as a bank staff from Delhi, some people called on his mobile and defrauded 54 lakh 82 thousand in the name of insurance plan.

 A complaint has been made at Bokaro Steel City Police Station, but no action has been taken so far. 

On being asked in this regard, the DSP, Bokaro cum investigating officer said that investigation is going on in the case and the number of fraudsters has been traced, whose location has been found in Bhojpur and Delhi. 

On this, AIG to DGP, Shams Tabrez, directed the investigating officer after the Bokaro DIG ordered the arrest of the accused as soon as possible with the help of the police officers of the area concerned.

17-year-old Vishwajit Kumar Singh aka Guddu Singh of Chatra district has been missing since August 28, 2013. 

In this regard, some people from the village have been named accused after registering an FIR in the Hunterganj police station, but no action has been taken so far in this case.

AIG to DGP Shams Tabrez, present at the review, ordered the DSP, Chatra to bring the matter to the notice of the SP of the district and meet the investigating officer to conduct a thorough investigation into all the facts related to the case.
