“The Bharatiya Janata Party works to entangle the vulnerable people of the state and the country in emotional issues. The dream of the poor, farmers and labourers have shattered. The trust of the country’s citizens has broken,” Yadav said.

“Has the dreams of ‘achhe din’ (good days), promised by the BJP been fulfilled?” the SP chief asked.

Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday contacted the party leaders across the state on WhatsApp and asked them to work for   providing relief to the migrant labourers and other people who suffered from the long spell of lockdown.

He said the video calling programme would continue and the party would contact all the booth level workers.
