IAS officer Ankit Anand was on Tuesday posted as Special Secretary (Independent charge) of the Housing and Environment Department in the Chhattisgarh government.
According to an order of the General Administration Department, Anand (IAS, 2006), will retain the posts of Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd (MARKFED), Raipur, and Chief Executive Officer, Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur Development Authority and also be the Special Secretary (Independent charge) of Housing and Environment Department.
On his taking charge, Sangeetha. P (IAS, 2004), Secretary Housing and Environment, will be relieved from the post. The charge of Secretary, Commercial Tax (Registration) Department, held by Sangeetha will now be taken over by the link officer.
On Monday, Renu G. Pillay (IAS, 1991), who was holding charge of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Medical Education, and additional charge of Director General, Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy, was posted as ACS, Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, and given additional charge of Director General, Chhattisgarh Administration Academy.
On her taking charge, Niharika Barik, Secretary Public Health and Family Welfare, will be relieved of the charge. Barik is going on a long leave.
