Bokaro students shine in CBSE 10 exams

Bokaro students once again performed exceptionally well in the Class X examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results were declared on Wednesday.

Among the toppers, Harsh Rai students of DPS Bokaro, Shree Krishna student of DAV School Koyla Nagar Dhanbad and Krishna Choudhary student of Rajkamal Shwarshwati Vidya Mandir Dhanbad scored 99 per cent marks while Soumya Thakur of DPS Bokaro and Ritisha Ranjan of Chianmay Vidyalaya scored 98.2 per cent marks.

Tanay Ishan of Chinmaya Vidyalaya scored 98 per cent marks, informed the school authorities. DPS Bokaro students delivered brilliant results in CBSE X examination, out of 223 students who appeared for the examination, 53 students secured more than 95 per cent while 126 students secured more than 90 per cent whereas 179 students bagged more than 80 per cent.

Among the others Saksham Kumar-97.8  per cent; Nishit Roshan, Rohit Verma, Harshit Kumar, Aditi Agrawal and Aameya Devansh - 97.6 per cent; Anshu Priya, Aditya Raj, Anushka Srivastava and Ayush Amlan - 97.4 per cent; Ayushi Sinha- 97.2 per cent; Harsh Bihany, Asmi Srivastava and Atithi Chauhan - 97 per cent; Tejaswani, Kushagra Patodia, Akshit Vrat and Shikhar Sharma- 96.8; Mitali Singh, Sahil Shekhar, Kavya Jha- 96.6; Nancy Raj and Aparajita -96.4, informed the official.

While students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya also performed well in the exam; Deoshrita Chattopadhya scored 97.8 per cent; Saloni Chourasia 97; Shera Sahay 96.8 and Pallav Sharma got 96.8 per cent marks. Tanay Ishan, Meghna Mishra, Rohit Kumar, Mayank Kumar and Shristi scored 100 per cent marks in Maths; Tanay Ishan and Ritisha grabbed 100 per cent in English; Ritisha, Deoshree, Anubhav, Sadhika and Sheransh got 100 per cent marks in Sanskrit, informed School authority.

The principals of the schools expressed immense happiness on this achievement and said that it is indeed a time for celebrations for all of us as the students have etched their names in the leaderboard.

AS Gangwar, Principal DPS Bokaro said: I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the students of Class X. They must know that they have made us all proud. The children have to choose their streams after AISSE.

“While making this pivotal decision I would suggest they take into consideration their ambitions, strengths and above all- their interests. Our blessings are always with you,” he added.
