Central Institute for Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR) on Tuesday signed six MoUs for transfer of technology with different firms on its platinum jubilee day in presence of Dr Harshvarshan, union minister for Health and Science and technology .
The minister and other dignitaries participated in the function on a virtual platform.
Giving details director Dr PK Singh said, the MoUs include one with Knowledge Lens Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru and others with M/s Coresonant Systems Private Limited, Secunderabad for commercialization of Digital Mine Using IoT .
Another is Collaborative Agreement for development of latest techniques for application of Geo-Synthetic Concrete Cement Mat (GCCM) for Indian geo-mining conditions, development of an intelligent slope deformation monitoring system, and turn-key based projects implementation of GCCM material in mining and other areas with M/s Sanbros Spares Pvt. Ltd. Nagpur. Yet another Agreement for permitting use of CIMFR facilities by MSME for geophysical exploration related to Electrical Resistivity Imaging System for Geophysical Survey for Coal Exploration with M/s AKD Geomining Solution (Pvt) Ltd. Ranchi . CIMFR and Maithon Power Ltd. (MPL) signed an agreement for Quality control of Coal for Power Generation and another with CIMFR and NPGCL and CCL Quality Coal for Power Generation , according to Dr Singh.
Dr Harsvardha who attended the programme as chief guest hailed signing of the agreements.He also hailed the works being done by the scientists of the CIMFR for making India self reliant in different fields.
Scientists and other employees of the organisation participated in the function held at Barwa campus of the Institute.
