Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) on Saturday intensified its election campaign for the bypoll on Bermo seat. Kumar Jaimangal is Congress candidate for the seat.
Congress Legislature Party Leader Alamgir Alam along with JPCC Working president, Rajesh Thakur, Spokesperson Shamsher Alam and Bokaro District President Manzoor Ansari visited Chandrapura, Pipradih, Ghatiali, Barwabheda, Noorinagar, Raja Bazar area to meet public and they also appealed the people to vote for Congress candidate in the bye-election of Bermo Assembly.
Addressing the people on the occasion Alam said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Hemant Soren is working on various kinds of action plan for the public interest and bringing it down to the ground. "The pace of development work was slowed in the anomalous situation of the Corona transition period. Now the situation is becoming normal, many tasks will start appearing on the ground now," he added.
Alam said that under the MGNREGA scheme, work has been done to provide employment to lakhs of people through various types of works. He said that the people of Bermo region had worked with great enthusiasm to elect Rajendra Singh as MLA for the sixth time. "This by-election is happening due to his sudden demise. Give an opportunity to Kumar Jayamangal from this region to speed up the development work done by the late Rajendra Singh,' he added.
Addressing the gathering Thakur said that it is the traditional seat of the party. The work done by Late Rajendra Singh in Bermo with dedication will benefit the party in the by poll and now Kumar Jayamangal will carry forward his unfinished work.
He further said that the BJP candidate is saying that the people will vote him this time to do development work in the area but when there was a BJP Government at the Center and in the State then they could not do any development work for the people of the State, now how will the public believe their words that this time they work for the people. It is certain that the Congress candidate will win the election by double margin this time, he added.
Shamsher Alam said that the public has decided to send Anoop Singh to the Legislative Assembly and his victory is certain.
