Former chief minister Raghubar Das on Saturday addressed a letter to chief minister Hemant Soren, requesting the government to issue guidelines for the celebration of Chhath at the earliest. The national vice president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wrote that the devotees were in a state of confusion and an early clarification on the Covid-19 protocols for Chhath would allow the devotees to plan accordingly for the festival.
