Security forces on Thursday stumbled upon a dildo amid a huge cache of arms and ammunition while raiding a Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP) hideout in Palamu, police said. While rifles and live cartridges were recovered from hideouts of insurgent groups during almost every raid, finding sex toys from the possession of rebels was not a common happening in Jharkhand.

Security forces comprising CRPF’s quick response team and police of Palamu recovered AK 56 rifle, pistol, country made gun, about two dozen cartridges, 8 cell phones, a couple of walkie talkie, note books etc which were thrown away by the extremists of the JJMP at an encounter with the joint security forces at Salamdiri this morning around 9.45 AM just to scurry for life when came the volley of shots from the contingent of the security forces.

Commandant of 134 battalion of the CRPF here A D Sharma said the joint forces today conducted a well planned and meticulous search at Salamdiri under Panki police station about which there was a tip off about the concentration of a dozen extremists of JJMP here since a couple of days.

Sharma further said it was SP Palamu Sanjeev Kumar who got this input and then the trio SP Sanjeev Kumar, assistant superintendent of police K Vijay Shankar and he worked out a plan to locate and neutralize them and accordingly security forces were inducted last night itself. Sources said the JJMP extremists had no clue that security forces would be so close to their throats.

Sources said the encounter lasted for little over ten minutes as beyond that JJMP or TSPC can’t face the professional fight of the CRPF and the police. Sources said there is no loss of life on either of the sides.
