The Delhi Police on Tuesday organised its first ever Virtual Passing out Parade for constables at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi.
G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of State (Ministry for Home Affairs) was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Chief Guest took the e-Salute from Vimarsh Hall in Police Head Quarters (PHQ). The event was streamed live on Facebook and YouTube page of Delhi Police. On the occasion, Delhi Commissioner of Police, S N Shrivastava welcomed the chief guest and congratulated the trainees on completion of their training.
The CP, Delhi underlined that during this training attention was paid to make them sound physically, mentally and technically. Apart from knowledge of Law, they were specially trained in Police Science, Computer Science, Cyber Crime, Criminology, personality development and investigation related training.
The Chief Guest congratulated all the passed out trainees for choosing to join a social service like Police and called upon them to deliver their best to face the challenges of Police service and to work for enhancing the image of police. He also appreciated the work done by officers of training division while in parting training to the trainees.
According to Anil Mittal, the Additional Public Relation Officer (APRO), a total 1320 Recruit Constables including 407 Women Recruit Constables have passed out. "These include 47 (35 male and 12 female) Recruit Constables from DAMAN and DIU Police," he said.
