Haryana’s recovery rate crosses 80% mark even as it gets 711 fresh cases

Even though Haryana has witnessed an increase in the COVID-19 cases, the State has also witnessed a positive trend as far as recoveries are concerned. It has recorded a recovery rate of 80.73 per cent so far and a total of 28,227 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the State till date. The doubling rate of cases improved to 25 days on Friday.

Meanwhile, with 711 fresh cases, the Covid-19 tally in the State reached 34,965 and four deaths pushed the toll to 421. The number of tests has crossed 6.12 lakh with 24,165 tests per million. The fatality rate was at 1.20 per cent.

According to a Health department bulletin, one fatality each was reported in Gurugram, Rohtak, Ambala and Panipat. In Haryana as many as 421 people have died of Covid-19 till date. There were 6317 active cases in the State while 887 patients got recovered or discharged in the last 24 hours from different hospitals of the State.

Meanwhile, Faridabad continued to report the highest number of cases as the district saw 176 fresh infections followed by Gurugram where 78 people were tested positive. Other districts where new cases were recorded include Ambala (48), Rohtak (62), Sonepat (21), Karnal (28), Panchkula (29), Rewari (74), Hisar (36), Panipat (44), Palwal (37), Mahendragarh (19), Jhajjar (4), Kaithal (6), Fatehabad (4), Nuh (8), Sirsa (6) and Charkhi Dadri (13).
