Miscreants burgle house at Bharat Nagar, steal valuables worth Rs 50K

Miscreants targeted a house at Bharat Nagar under Piplani police station area and escaped with electronic goods and household goods worth  Rs 50000 on Saturday.

Police said that the victim Rajiv Nayan Mishra  along with his family had gone to Allahabad Uttar Pradesh in the month of April after lockdown was imposed and and when he returned on Saturday locks were broken and valuables were found burgled.

A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Piplani police and in his complaint, he stated that he along with his family had gone to home in Allahabad and got stranded in the lockdown when he returned valuables were found burgled from his house.

In the burglary miscreants targeted LED TV, a music system, cooking gas cylinder and household goods. The victim has claimed that the total loss in the burglary is around Rs  50000. The police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

The miscreants had even removed taps from the house in the burglary. The victim deals in car cleaning service. Police said that the CCTV footage of the nearby installed cameras would be searched in the further investigation.

Based on the details in the complaint and information provided by the victim, the police have started investigation.

Meanwhile, cooking gas LPG cylinder were stolen from Nav Taran gas agency at Bhanpur under Chhola Mandir police station area; complaint was lodged by owner after cylinders were found missing.

Police said that the victim Vibhor Taran runs Nav Taran gas agency and on July 10 he found that cylinder were found less according to the stock.

He failed to find the stock and later lodged complaint. The police have registered of theft and started further investigation.
