No need to worry about annual increment: Chouhan to Govt employees

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to all Government officials/ employees of the State not to worry about the annual increment. He has said that every officer / employee will be given the benefit of annual increment at the stipulated time.

However, due to Covid crisis at this time, the actual benefits of salary hike in public interest will be given only when conditions become normal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has expressed confidence that all the officers / employees will support and support this decision of the Government with the aim of helping the State come out of Corona crisis.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that at present, Madhya Pradesh is undergoing a challenging phase of Corona infection. The Government has put in every effort to fight against Covid-19.

While a large part of the state budget is being spent on health services and other Covid works, on the other hand the income of the State has declined due to decrease in economic activities.

The Chief Minister said that our officers who are the backbone of the employee governance system, have always supported the Government in adverse circumstances.

The government too has never stepped back to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of its employees.
