Acting on complaints of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by Revenue and Disaster Management Special Secretary Ajay Kumar Das, Vigilance officers on Wednesday conducted raids on his office room and houses at many places to detect assets possessed by him and his family members.
Simultaneous raids were conducted at Das’ residential house at Ratnakara Bag, Tankapani Road and a flat at Patia in Bhubaneswar and his double-storied building in Baleswar.
During the searches, thee flats in his name, two in Bhubaneswar and one in Puri, were traced. The raids were in progress, informed an official.
