Training prog for cops on prevention of crime against women

With an aim to increase the professional efficiency of officers and investigation officers for the research of crimes against women, Bhopal police  hold a three day special training program which concluded on Saturday. The training program was inaugurated on July 16 by SP Headquarter Dharmveer Singh and Addl SP Headquarters ASP Nivedita Naidu.

The three day training program was organized from July 16 to 18, in which around 160 officers and investigation officers including women and men SI and ASI were trained from all the police stations of Bhopal district. The training program was also organized last week, in which around 200 officers were trained.

Director of RFSL Dr MP Bhaskar, expert in various disciplines in the training program, gave lecture on crime scene, management and evidence collection in crimes against women. RFSL Dr Manish Kumar Saini gave information regarding ballistics, physics and related crimes. Similarly, Dr Kalpana Verma of RFSL and Dr Lata Tripathi of RFSL shared details of chemistry, tonsology, narcotics science and gave detailed information about what important precautions should be taken in the investigation of such crimes.

RFSL Dr Kailash Chandra and Dr Praveen Jha gave lectures regarding VOICE and cyber crime and gave information about how to do evidence and sampling in the above crimes. Dr DK Pandey gave practical examples and necessary lectures on biology, serology. Dr Kamlesh and Dr Hirek Das gave important information about DNA sampling and form feeding etc.

The training was concluded successful with the efforts of RI  Deepak Patil, Woman cell in-charge  Sulochana Gehlot, ASI Kailash Gwale and other staffs.
