Jan Aashirwad Yatras highly sucessful: Nadda

Sunday, 05 September 2021 | PNS | New Delhi

Describing the ‘Jan Aashirwad Yatras’ by the newly appointed 39 Union Ministers in the Narendra Modi Government across several States as ‘highly successful’, BJP President J P Nadda on Saturday claimed that the ‘massive response’ from the people has made the Opposition ‘nervous’ and hence, it has sought to put hurdles in the ‘Yatras’.

The ‘Jan Aashirwad Yatras’, which began on the Independence Day and lasted till August 28, 2021, covered more than 24,000 kms in 14 days in which over 5,000 programmes were organised, said Nadda.

“All these programmes were highly successful which also ensured enthusiastic participation of people from all walks of life. Entire credit of the success of the ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ goes to the people of India”, he said.

These ‘Yatras’ were undertaken under the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he in his first expansion of union cabinet in last two years inducted 39 new ministers in July 6, dropping many heavyweights including Ravishankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar.

“The people of India across the states have heartily welcomed the new Ministers and lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party government led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for doing the all-round development and progress of India, said BJP Presided in s statement.

He said since 2014, Prime Minister has “worked tirelessly and with full dedication and devotion” to serve the people of the country and to ensure welfare and wellbeing of every sections of our society.

He claimed that in the past 7 years “all the calamities and problems have been converted into opportunities by the Narendra Modi government. Be it the Covid-19 management, the execution of the world’s largest and fastest Covid vaccination programme, evacuation of Indians stuck in any part of the world or the preservation and conservation of the great culture and traditions of our great country.”

Nadda said ‘Jan Aashirwad Yatras’ across the country has left the “Opposition parties disturbed and nervous and they unsuccessfully tried to disturb and create hindrances in our Yatra and programmes.”

“All ploys and disturbances have failed to shake the strong support and trust that the people have showered on the Narendra Modi Government.
