Police memorial day will be celebrated in a dignified manner on October 21, Additional Director General of Police SAF Milind Kanashkar on Tuesday took a meeting of the concerned officers related with the preparations for the Police Commemoration Day.
He assigned the responsibilities to various officers to complete all the preparations within the time limit.
Additional Director General of Police, Kanashkar said that for the Police Commemoration Day program, arrangement should be done in a better way at the memorial site located in Lal Parade Ground premises.
He directed to ensure strict adherence to the prescribed protocol for prevention of Covid-19 infection throughout the event.
The families of the martyrs would be invited in an honourable manner and who would participate in the memorial day and along with this good arrangements should be made for their arrival and stay. He also asked all the guests to be invited on time and respectfully.
It was decided in the meeting that the rehearsals for the March-past would start from October 4.
The full-dress final exercise parade will be held on October 19.
