Friday, 22 October 2021 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday urged Collectors to submit within a month plans to establish Rural Industrial Parks in the Gauthans (cowsheds) in their districts.

Baghel sought this while reviewing various works at a Collectors’ Conference here.

On the Narva Garva Ghurva Badi scheme, the Chief Minister called for special attention to rural areas where the ground water levels are deep.

He instructed the Collectors to select land for projects in such a manner that private land belonging to farmers is not affected.

The Chief Minister underlined the need for linking the Badi scheme meant for vegetable garden in Gauthans with movements like mid-day meals, ‘Ashram’ for children and movement for eliminating malnutrition through ‘Suposhan Abhiyan’.
