The recovery rate of Covid-19 in Gurugram is constantly improving and has touched 98.14 per cent as compared to 91.89 per cent last week.
The health officials said that to curb Covid infections, an action plan has been prepared by the district administration which focuses on testing, tracing and treatment. Plus the administration is also encouraging people to get vaccinated and as per the Haryana Government’s instruction, the Gurugram district administration has ordered all private hospitals to fix the rate of the jabs.
Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr MP Singh, has ordered that all the private hospitals charge a fixed rate of Rs 900 for the Covishield vaccine and Rs 1,200 for Covaxin.
“All private hospitals have been asked to fix the Covid vaccine rates.
If private hospitals set up a vaccination camp out of their premises, then they can charge an additional Rs 250 for administrating the dose,” Singh said.
This means that if the hospital sets up camp anywhere outside its premises, then it can charge Rs 1,150 for the Covishield jab and Rs 1,450 for Covaxin.
