Civil society organisation People’s Rural Education Movement (PREM) in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation organised a series of relief camps in various blocks of Ganjam district besides in the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
The distributed relief materials included rice, dal, sugar, masala, mustard oil, and hand rub sanitisers, etc. The relief work undertaken during last week were in Asurabandha and Gopalpur Sasan panchayats of Surada block covering 780 families, Ambapua and Park Street in BeMC covering 200 families and among the villagers of Mandia Palli, Bhabi Narayan Pur and in OUAT Fisheries College colony covering 200 families. During the distribution at Ambapua, Brahmapur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu and Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda were present.
