Tournament begins on new RTU cricket ground

A cricket tournament began on Tuesday at the newly constructed cricket ground of Rabindranath Tagore University.

The tournament was inaugurated by Chief Guest Rajeev Agrawal, President, Association of All Industries, Mandeep, Special Guest, Joint Secretary of BDCA, Sushil Singh and the Registrar of the University. Vijay Singh was present.

Rajeev Agrawal said in his eloquence that the discipline, perseverance and loyalty of the sports person is enhanced. He highlighted the importance of sports, so that sports activities reduce the stress and increase sportsmanship. Sushil Singh said that playing an important role in shaping the life of a sports student, confidence in sports increases.  Vijay Singh said that the university has also maintained academic quality as well as sports culture. The university has a lot of sportspersons infrastructure conducting skills. The students of the university are doing excellent sports by helping them in international and international competitions.

Rashtwik Chabe said that the RNTU cricket tournament is being organized from February 23 to March 16, in which 5 teams of 15 players are participating. The tournament is played for 50–50 overs. The tournament will be played before reaching the final.
