Youth should come forward to strengthen inclusive culture, says Governor

Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the Kanyakumari Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a beacon of traditional emotional unity and reverence of the people of India for Swami Vivekananda. He has asked the youth to strengthen the national culture of unity in diversity of our inclusive culture. Contribute to strengthen positive thinking and a constructive worldview about the country, society and the future. He was addressing the closing ceremony of Ek Bharat-Vijayi Bharat organised by Vivekananda Kendra at Ravindra Bhavan today.

Patel said that the personality of Swami Vivekananda is a symbol of patriotism and Indian values. He was a noted and spiritual master of Vedanta. His each and every word gives an impression of our rich cultural heritage. Patel called upon the youth to take inspiration from Swami Vivekananda and tell the people about unity in diversity that is embedded in the rich heritage, culture, customs and traditions of our country. Make the sense of national awareness stronger and more responsive by acquainting the masses with the importance of harmonious Indian culture, the glory of the past. Create an environment of harmonious society building. The Governor has said that Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has a lot of hopes and expectations from the youth. He has opened new opportunities for active participation of youth in building a New India to take the energy of the youth forward in a positive direction. He also mentioned his association with the activities of the Centre.

Tourism, Culture & Spirituality Minister Usha Thakur has appealed to the guardians to inspire the future generations with the renunciations and sacrifices of the country's brave heroes and asked them to put their pictures in their homes. He said that 50 years of the establishment of the Vivekananda Inscription Memorial is an opportunity to acquaint the future generations with the specialties of Indian culture. Governor Shri Patel described the land of India as the land of offering, submission and earnestness. He said that there is no other place in the world like India. Referring to the context of the establishment of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and his schooling in the school of Ramkrishna Mission, he remembered those who made sacrifices for freedom.

The keynote speaker of the programme Shri Pramod Dabholkar, treasurer of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, said that the Vivekananda rock memorial is the theme of converting the feeling of despair and defeat prevailing in the country into victory and transmitting national pride to the masses at the time of Chinese invasion.

He said that the message of Swami Vivekananda is full of enthusiasm and energy. Hearing and reading it, a person lying in a dormant state also wakes up.

Vivekananda Kendra's Provincial Director Shri Manoj Singhdev presented the welcome statement and the introduction of the programme. Shri Manoj Gupta presented the details of the provincial activities of Ek Bharat-Vijayi Bharat Abhiyan. The Provincial Head of the Centre Shri Bhawar Singh Rajput expressed the gratitude.
