13-ft India map weighing 400 kg at B’pur ITI

Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav-Har Ghar Triranga was celebrated at the Government ITI here on Saturday. Padmashree Awardee and noted Surgeon Prof KM Tripathy inaugurated the fest. A 13 ft height India map weighing 400 kg was installed outside the boundary wall of the institute to mark the event.

The giant map was kept open for view of the general public and to take selfie with it. People who move on the NH are quite enthusiastic to take selfie with the map and feel proud to be an Indian, said Principal of the institute Dr Rajat K Panigrahi.

Prof Tripathy who joined the event as chief guest highly appreciated the hard and innovative work of the students and teachers to involve the general public in the Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav.
