ESL Steel Limited, on the occasion of World Health Day, organized a blood donation camp at Dispensary (16 khata) with the help of CSR and HSE team where more than 150 employees registered themselves for the donation. The event was attended by Dr. Abhay Bhushan Prasad (Civil Surgeon, Bokaro), Khirod Barik (CHRO, ESL) and Sanjay Sinha (DGM, ER & PR) as the Chief Guests. Dr. KK Sinha and team from Red Cross Society along with Dr. Rinku and team from ESL HSE were also there for the coordination of the event. The event was held in association with the Red Cross Society and with the support of Citizens Foundation with the aim of reducing the scarcity of blood at the required time. Hence, helping with the availability of required blood in blood banks and saving many lives.
On the occasion, Khirod Barik, Dy. CHRO said that he is really glad to see such active participation within the company for the social cause and can proudly say that the ESL family is always ready to serve the society whenever needed. Also he wished for everyone’s good health and better tomorrow.
