Urdu Academy organises 19th literary programme ‘Silsila’ at Balaghat college

Poets and writers expressed thier thoughts in a programme held on Tuesday.

Notably, programmes are being organized under Silsila. The 19th programme of this episode was organized at Jatashankar Postgraduate College, Balaghat in collaboration with District Coordinator Ashok Singhne Asim.

Ashok Singh, the coordinator of Balaghat district, said that 10 poets and litterateurs participated in the literary seminar organized in Balaghat. The program was presided over by Prof L C Jain, Senior Poet of Balaghat. Kabir Ansari as the chief guest and Prem Prakash Tripathi and Alka Chaudhary as special guests were present on the stage.

According to Nusrat Mehdi, Director of the Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, the academy through its district coordinators, is organizing lectures, discussions and poetry seminars under "Silsila" under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi in all the districts of the state.

In the seminars being organized at the district headquarters, such creators of villages, tehsils, settlements, etc., coming under the respective districts, are being invited who have not yet got the opportunity to perform in the programmes of the Academy.

It is noteworthy that around 18 programmes in this regard have been organized in Bhopal, Khandwa, Vidisha, Dhar, Shajapur, Tikamgarh, Sagar and Satna, Rewa, Satna Sidhi, Raisen, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram Damoh, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Burhanpur, Dewas and Ratlam.

The programme was organized in Ratlam in which the creators of Balaghat district presented their compositions.
