Police conduct flag march, CCTV camera for sensitive areas

Jamshedpur police, RAF and JAP on Thursday undertook flag march along with riot control vehicles from Sakchi and covered areas like Telco, Burmamines, Jugsalai, Sakchi, Dhatkidih, Kadma Bistupur and culminated at Gandhi Maidan in Mango.

As part of the safety measures medical teams will be deployed at 19 locations designated primarily on routes taken for immersion procession namely, Gandhi Maidan roundabout and Mango roundabout (in Mango), Kapali Ghat, Domuhani, Ram Mandir, Bharat Sevashram Sangha (all in Sonari), Ram Mandir (in Bistupur), CCR, Sakchi roundabout (in Sakchi), Bhalubasa roundabout (in Sitaramdera), Agrico roundabout (in Agrico), Golmuri roundabout (in Golmuri), Tata Motors labour bureau (in Telco), Rankini Mandir and Sati Ghat (both in Kadma), Baroda Ghat, Jugsalai railway crossing and Station roundabout (all in Jugsalai), Burmamines roundabout (Burmamines).

Meanwhile, the East Singhbhum police also carried out a flag march in view of the Ram Navami procession tomorrow. During the flag march which started from Sakchi, policemen went around various sensitive pockets. Apart from senior police officials, Jamshedpur’s senior SP Prabhat Kumar also participated in the flag march.
