There will be 125 pink polling stations consisting of all female staff in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Bastar constituency.

At a voter awareness event here, Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale flagged off an awareness chariot.

She urged the people to exercise their franchise and inspire more and more people to vote.

She commended the voters' awareness during the 2023 Assembly elections and the high voting percentage in the Bastar division.

She also felicitated disabled voters with flowers.

On this occasion, a voter awareness rally was taken from Shaheed Park to Hata Ground, where a human chain was formed.

Bastar will see polling on April 19. The results will be announced nationally on June 4.
