The Chief Personnel Manager of Bokaro Steel Plant, Hari Mohan Jha, along with Dr. B.B. Karunamay, Chief Medical Officer of Bokaro General Hospital, inaugurated the biometric RFID ID card facility for contract laborers in non-core areas on April 8. Under the guidance of Administrative Director (Personnel and Administration) Rajan Prasad, the distribution of these cards among the contractual workers of Bokaro General Hospital will commence in the initial phase, followed by extending this facility to laborers in other departments. This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the amenities for contract laborers at Bokaro Steel Plant.
The primary objective behind this initiative is to ensure the identification of contract laborers through the biometric RFID ID cards and to facilitate them in availing their entitled benefits. This effort is expected to streamline the contract labor system further, making it more effective and efficient.
