The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has hit back at the allegations of spying on Champai by the BJP. JMM General Secretary Vinod Pandey has said that by telling lies, the BJP leaders have ruined the entire country. The BJP, whose tactics, character and face are that of cheating, lying and rioting, has been exposed. The BJP leaders should apologize to the country.
He said that the statement issued by the Police Headquarters has made it clear that two SIs of the Special Branch of Jharkhand Police in Delhi were detained due to misunderstanding during the execution of this task, who were later released. The policemen were posted for security. They were not spying on any particular person.
He said that throughout the day, BJP's big leaders including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, state president Babulal Marandi, MP Deepak Prakash, Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri and many others have spread baseless information about Champai Soren's spying only and only for deception. Babulal has also been a Chief Minister like Himanta, he would also know very well that Champai Soren is covered with high security category, police officers of the Special Branch were discharging their duties there.
Traditionally, intelligence gathering on political, economic, social issues related to Jharkhand in Delhi and other states is done directly and indirectly. Special Branch also contributes in the security of dignitaries.
The work of BJP leaders is unforgivable. The common psyche of Jharkhand understands that when Champai Soren himself has announced to join BJP. He went from Kolkata to Delhi. He was constantly seen in the media in Delhi. His every activity has been in front of the people. Then why and who would spy on him.
He said that BJP leaders have lost their balance after seeing the popularity of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and are making absurd statements. They could not find any fault in Hemant's work and got defeated in the political arena, so now they are trying to sail their boat with the help of lies. The nefarious designs of BJP leaders will never be fulfilled on the land of Jharkhand. Only the people of the state will give a befitting reply to BJP on this land of heroes.
