OJASS and PRAWAAH at SBPS

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi felicitated its young scholars at the annual prize distribution ceremony, ‘Ojass’ & ‘Prawaah’ for the session 2023-24. The hard work, earnestness and credibility of the students who showed meticulous performance in academics were acknowledged. More than 1500 students were felicitated in various categories of the event. The school felicitated the students for 100% Attendance as well as Hattrick Attendance, for the students with 100% attendance for three consecutive years along with this the students with perfect attendance for consecutive four, five and six years. The parents too witnessed the event and were appreciated for putting concerted efforts towards their child to secure Perfect attendance. Principal, Paramjit Kaur, lauded the noteworthy achievements of the students and encouraged others to work hard so that they could also achieve such laurels in the upcoming years.

SCS celebrates World Heritage Day

 

In celebration of World Heritage Day, Surendranath Centenary School organized educational field  trips for the students of class V and VI to Tribal Museum and Jharkhand State Museum respectively. The trips were planned under the CBSE Bridge Course Activity to provide students visuals of some manuscripts, artefacts, lifestyle of tribals etc with some experiential learning. The students of classes III to V also celebrated the day by conducting a special assembly and participating in a quiz competition. Principal Samita Sinha said that through these kind of trips students not only learn about our culturally rich heritage but also experience it firsthand understanding the importance of cultural preservation.
