Chief minister Champai Soren is due to arrive here in Daltonganj on Saturday February 10.
This will be his maiden visit here in all capacity so far like MLA, minister and chief minister now.
Champai Soren is to lay down the foundation stone of 456 crore worth underground pipe line irrigation scheme.
This underground pipe line irrigation scheme was sanctioned in the January 9 cabinet of the then chief minister Hemant Soren
Under this scheme water is to be piped line in 14 water reservoirs here.
Three rivers North Koyel, Ouranga and Sone will be giving waters to these water reservoirs through pipe lines
Chief minister is also to disburse approval letters among the beneficiaries of the Abuwa Awas Yojna.
He will be doing this at Garhwa where a few thousands of Abuwa Awas beneficiaries would be transported by the Palamu administration.
Palamu has a target of 13, 681 Abuwa Awas for the year 2023 -24. Each is to come for 2 lakh of rupees where a beneficiary is to put in his 95 Mandays for the MGNREG wages.
DC Garhwa Shekhar Jamuar told this correspondent "Garhwa has around 10, 000 beneficiaries of Abuwa Awas while Palamu has little over 13,000 Abuwa Awas. There will be a joint disbursement of Abuwa Awas approval letters here in Garhwa by the chief minister."
Jamuar known for doing works without noise and exhibition said "We have adequate arrangement here for the chief minister's function. It will be a smooth sailing." End
