Corporations unite to boost voting turnout, employees pledge at Adhunik Power

In a bid to strengthen the democratic fabric of the nation, corporate entities are stepping forward to galvanize voter participation among their employees and communities. One such notable endeavour unfolded at Adhunik Power, a prominent power plant nestled in Padampur, Seraikela-Kharsawan district. With the Lok Sabha elections inching, Adhunik Power initiated a comprehensive voter awareness campaign within its factory premises, aiming to instill a sense of civic responsibility and encourage robust voter turnout. Led by Chief Executive Officer Arun Kumar Mishra, this initiative underscores the pivotal role that corporate houses can play in fostering democratic engagement and empowering citizens to exercise their fundamental right to vote.

 

Promoting voter awareness and participation, Adhunik Power, a leading power plant situated in Padampur, Seraikela-Kharsawan district, recently spearheaded a voter awareness campaign within its factory premises. The initiative aimed to encourage a high voter turnout in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with employees taking a solemn oath to exercise their right to vote.

 

Addressing the gathering of employees on Monday, Chief Executive Officer Arun Kumar Mishra emphasized the significance of voting in bolstering democracy. He underscored that each vote holds immense importance in shaping the nation's future, and it is the right and duty of every citizen to actively participate in the electoral process. Mishra urged employees to recognize their role in electing capable representatives who can drive positive change at both national and state levels.

 

Prior to Mishra's address, company officials Kamlesh Kumar and Sanjeet Sinha administered the voter oath to all employees present, symbolizing their commitment to fulfilling their civic duty. Subsequently, employees and officials alike contributed to the success of the campaign by signing the voter awareness board, symbolizing their dedication to fostering a culture of electoral participation.

 

The event witnessed a warm welcome speech delivered by Manjeet Singh, while SK Parvez extended gratitude in his vote of thanks. Additionally, company officer SM Khusru captivated the audience with a motivational poem urging individuals to exercise their voting rights. The program garnered enthusiastic participation from company officials, employees, and stakeholders, reaffirming their collective commitment to promoting democratic values.

 

By leveraging their platform and resources, Adhunik Power exemplifies corporate social responsibility by actively engaging in initiatives aimed at enhancing civic engagement and promoting democratic principles.
