FIR lodged against Khalistani terrorist for threatening to disrupt India-England Test Match

Ranchi Police lodged an FIR against US-based terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun for issuing threats to cancel the fourth Test match between India and England in Ranchi on Tuesday. Pannun has released a video on YouTube urging Maoist organisations to disrupt the match and has threatened both Team Indian and England Captains asking them to go back.

Pannun, who runs a banned Khalistani organisation ‘Sikhs for Justice’ threatened to cancel the match and send the England team back. An FIR has been lodged in this regard at Dhurva police station in Ranchi.

In the FIR lodged at Dhurwa police station, it has been said that Gurpatwant Singh Pannun of Sikh for Justice organization, who currently lives in America, has called on CPI (Maoist) through YouTube to cancel the Test match to be held in Ranchi. For this, a tornado should be created in Jharkhand and Punjab.

Along with this, he has threatened Team India captain Rohit Sharma and England cricket team captain Ben Stock of not allowing them to play the match. Pannu has told the Maoists that cricket should not be allowed on tribal lands.

 

Meanwhile, for the fourth test match during in test series between India and England, which is scheduled from February 23, the team of India and England reached Ranchi on Tuesday. The players were given a grand welcome at the airport by people of Jharkhand.  There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of Ranchi regarding the arrival of the players. From the airport to the hotel, crowds of people are standing in the hope of getting a glimpse of the players.

The players boarded two buses from the airport and left for a city based hotel. The players of both the teams are being taken to the hotel amid tight security.

Both the teams will do net practice at Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) on January 21- January 22. After this, from February 23 to February 27, India-England team will play the fourth match of the five-Test series.

In this match also, the team will have a lot of expectations from young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal. It is expected that Yashasvi can make a unique record in his name in Ranchi. Talking about the series, India is ahead 2-1 in the five-Test series. The Indian team is currently in full form. In the third Test that concluded in Rajkot on Sunday, the Indian team defeated England by a huge margin of 443 runs.
