Chief Electoral Officer Anpum Rajan said that the first randomization for Lok Sabha elections- 2024, has been completed in 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The first randomization process of EVMs in 18 districts was completed on Friday. Earlier on March 21, the process of randomization was completed in 34 districts. He said that the process of EVM randomization took place in the presence of authorized representatives of recognized national political parties, Collectors and District Election Officers. Subsequently, the machines have been allotted assembly constituency wise. EVMs have been kept safe in the strong room of the assembly constituency.
The first phase of EVM randomization was conducted on March 22 in Indore, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa, Panna, Guna and Shahdol districts.
