Mercury crosses 43 degree mark in State

Sun God is spewing fire in Jharkhand. In many districts the mercury has crossed 43 degrees Celsius. The temperature in many districts has reached 40 degrees Celsius.

Ranchi Indian Meteorological Center informed that the mercury will rise further in the coming days. There is a possibility of increase in temperature of two to three degrees Celsius in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of heat wave in Kolhan division from 19 to 21 April.

As per the weather center information, the heat wave will continue in Santhal Pargana also from April 20 to April 21. Talking about the last 24 hours, the highest temperature has been recorded in Seraikela. The maximum temperature was recorded at 43.7 degrees in Seraikela, while the minimum temperature was 24.1 degrees Celsius at Bokaro Thermal. In the capital Ranchi, maximum of 36.8 and minimum of 25 degrees Celsius was recorded.

In view of the rising temperatures, schools have started changing their timetable. Many schools have changed the time of reaching school in the morning and leaving in the afternoon. At the same time, many schools will soon change the timing from next week. DAV Alok, DAV Public School, DAV Bariatu, JVM Shyamali, Oxford Public School, Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Royals Budd Public School and Kairali School have already changed the morning schedule. Classes were conducted in DAV Bariatu from 8 am.

Now it is 7.30. In DAV Alok, classes are being held from 7 am instead of 8.10 am. Similarly, in Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, classes are being conducted from 7 am instead of 7.40, in JVM Shyamali from 7 am instead of 8 am and in Oxford Public School, classes are now being conducted from 6 am instead of 8 am.
