Dominating India smashed Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2025. Kuldeep Yadav once again showcased his match-winning abilities as he spun India into a commanding position against Bangladesh in the ongoing Asia Cup Super Four clash. The left-arm wrist-spinner delivered a sensational spell, claiming three wickets for just 18 runs and coming agonisingly close to a hat-trick. His variations and control left the Bangladeshi batters searching for answers, tilting the contest heavily in India’s favour.
Earlier, India’s innings had begun explosively, courtesy of Abhishek Sharma’s breathtaking 75 off just 37 balls. The young opener unleashed a flurry of strokes all around the ground, combining power with precision to rattle the opposition. His fiery knock, studded with boundaries and sixes, provided the perfect launchpad as he and Shubman Gill (29) stitched together a 77-run opening stand in just 6.2 overs.
However, the middle-order stumbled once the openers departed, failing to build on the momentum. Wickets at regular intervals denied India the chance of posting a massive score. It was Hardik Pandya’s calculated aggression, 38 from 29 balls that ensured India crossed 150, eventually finishing at 168 for six. With Kuldeep’s brilliance, India stood on the verge of sealing another vital win.
