Under the guidance of Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, a significant Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on leprosy was organized for postgraduate students at AIIMS Bhopal on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students of various medical colleges.
The primary objective of the CME was to foster collaboration among medical institutions through intercollegiate academic meetings, enabling knowledge exchange and enhanced learning opportunities for students. This year's World Health Organization (WHO) theme-"Unite, Act, Eliminate"-perfectly resonates with this initiative. It underscores the need for unity within the medical community, decisive action through early diagnosis and effective treatment, and a collective effort toward eliminating leprosy. During the CME session, experts on leprosy discussed in detail the identification of the disease, the latest treatment methods, and the promotion of the right mindset towards this illness in society.
