With the aim of promoting legal awareness and making citizens aware of their rights and duties, the grand virtual inauguration of "Legal Literacy Club" was done by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad at D.A.V. Public School Hazaribag on Sunday. On this occasion, Chief Guest Mrs. Roopa Bandana Keero, Senior Division II Judge, while inaugurating the club, said that legal awareness is the basic need of the society. This club will provide information to the people about their constitutional rights, duties and various legal aspects, so that they can be empowered to get justice.School Principal Dr. Rajneesh Kumar, Mr. Gaurav Sahay, Panel Lawyer, Vikas Kumar Soni, Deputy Chief L.A.D.C, Mrs. Nivedita Singh, Mr. Deepak Kumar, P.L.V. and many distinguished guests participated in the program and shared their views. The speakers emphasized the importance of legal education and appealed to the youth to take maximum benefit of this club.Regular workshops, awareness campaigns, legal aid camps and interactive sessions with experts will be organized through this club. The aim of the club is to make students and the general public aware of the Indian Constitution, human rights, cyber law, consumer rights and other legal topics.At the end of the program, the Principal of the school, Dr. Rajnish Kumar expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries, students and participants present and hoped that this club will play an important role in increasing legal awareness in the society.
