Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations in CMPDI

CMPDIL paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution on the occasion of his 135rd birth anniversary at its HQs, Ranchi. Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI; Shankar Nagachari, Director (Technical/CRD); Ajay Kumar, Director (Technical/P&D/RD&T); GM/HoDs, employees, Trade Union representatives etc., paid tributes and remembered the contributions made by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Speaking on this occasion, Kumar in his address said, that how constitution can empower the citizens, and how teachings of Ambedkar continue to inspire movements for social justice and equality in India. Nagachari, in his address repeated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statement that "Life should be great rather than long," and said that the true value of life lies not in fame or material success, but in living with purpose, making a positive impact, and dedicating oneself to social justice and the upliftment of others.

CCL celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti

On the auspicious occasion of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) family paid emotional tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the great social reformer, jurist and architect of the Indian Constitution. On this auspicious occasion, a wreath was placed on the statue of Dr Ambedkar at CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House. Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, Heads of Departments, senior officers and a large number of employees graced the event. Everyone together remembered the thoughts of Baba Saheb and paid tribute to his struggles and contributions.

UCO Bank celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti

UCO Bank SC/ST and OBC Employees Council, Jharkhand unit celebrated the 135th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. On this occasion, the council organized a special program at the old age home 'Apna Ghar' run by Ursuline Convent Hesag. Sister Emma, director of the old age home, cordially welcomed the council members present. The members of UCO Bank  with their personal contribution, presented dry food items and a washing machine to a mother living in the old age home. The program was conducted by Nutan Preeti Ekka. Chief Manager Pawan Bharti from UCO Bank Zonal Office Ranchi, Council Chairperson Anjalina Odiya, President  Parmeshwar Jerai, Secretary Deepen Anand Toppo and other members were present in the program.

Canara Bank observes Ambedkar Jayanti

On the occasion of Ambedkar's 134th birth anniversary; a tribute program was organized at Canara Bank Zonal Office Ranchi under the banner of Canara Bank SC/ST Employees' Welfare Association. The chief guest was Zonal Deputy General Manager Manoj Magre, special guest was Assistant General Manager Thomas Tiru and Suman Tirkey. The program started with the lighting of the lamp.
