Wedding season is back — love is in the air and every street feels like it’s playing its own wedding band. It’s the moment when everyone begins searching for the look, the feeling, the “it dress” that captures who they are. Brides linger over fabric swatches, grooms surprise themselves by caring about pocket details, and families hope for outfits that feel unforgettable. Within this celebratory mood, designers are interpreting weddings in ways that feel personal rather than performative.
Taraasa by Frontier Raas presents Destination Bridal 2025 — Past, Present, Forever as a thoughtful narrative rooted in emotion. Creative Director Gaurang Batra observes that today’s bride seeks connection — she chooses outfits that reflect her voice and values rather than rules. The collection moves from heritage ivories and soft shimmers to a classic red lehenga. Handwoven and light, it is created for brides who want their “this is my moment” outfit to feel effortless and meaningful, whether the celebration takes place in a palace, by the sea, or at home.
In contrast, Qbik offers a strikingly different expression of the season with Disco Discord. Co-founders Vrinda Sachdev and Gurinder Singh design for couples who want their wedding presence to feel individual. Satin finds contrast in CNC-cut metal, crafted into sculptural details across sarees, blouses, tuxedos, and gilets. Sachdev sees this balance as a reflection of modern weddings-emotional yet confident-while Singh highlights the quiet strength metal brings to both menswear and womenswear. A satin saree with an underwired, metal-detailed blouse becomes a favourite for brides, while sharply tailored tuxedos with sculptural buttons stand out for grooms.
Together, these visions crown a new chapter in wedding style, where love reigns, as tradition and modernity unite gracefully.
