Absolutely, Out of Five states, congress will grab the power in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand. But in case of Mizoram and Telengana not yet been sure that congress will capture the power. Mizoram is facing Anti-incumbency for Congress and Telengana Mr. KCR is dominating till today but can change the arithmetic by congress with good alliance.

In MP , Chattisgarh BJP has completed three terms and definitely there will be anti incumbency factor will play out in these sectors. But problem with Congress is divided local leadership and lack of understanding of central leadership in organizing party along with opposition which balances any anti incumbency . Hence in these states BJP will improve the position. Telangana TRS will retain their hold with good performance. In Rajasthan , due to local leadership Congress may gain as State leadership of BJP is lackluster . But who knows RAGA can surprise everybody by handing it over to BJP at the last moment . Hence I am keeping my fingers crossed for Rajasthan .

Sometimes, perception is more powerful than real situation on the ground. This is true, when mass media, most of them target the ruling party for the reasons, which are politically motivated. The BJP government should take the charges seriously and fight it out in order to win the war of lies . Every charge of the opposition should be challenged in order to win the battle of nerves. Even though the governance is far better than the previous governments and corruption is far less than UPA government, what is more important is perception and news being fed by mass media, which has an agenda to defeat the present government at the centre.

the opposition has failed to provide alternative leadership...that is why bjp still has an upper hand in spite of the anti incumbency....

It is not possible for the Opposition to gain upper hand in the campaign for the assembly elections to any of the five States in November-December 2018 for the simple reason that the Congress stands fully exposed for its corruption and corrupt practices, divisive and ideny politics, politics of vote-bank of the so-called minority (read Muslim), minority-fixation, its foul practice of spreading canards tarnishing the fair name of Modiji., RG seems to be bent upon driving the last nail in the coffin of Congress. He does not know that the days when gimmickries impressed voters are long over.

Except Rajasthan, where it is a toss up between BJP and Corrupt Congress, BJP will romp home comfortably in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Telangana will go to TRS.

In Rajasthan the opposition has the upper hand . In AP it is TRS which has the upper hand . In Madhya Pradesh and Chatisgarh anything can happen and a lot depends on an efficient campaign . BJP could lose if it is overconfident .
