BJP State vice president and Dhenkanal Lok Sabha Pravari Golak Prasad Mohapatra on Friday met BJP leader Er Debashisha Hota at his home and discussed for an hour with him for better results in Assembly and Parliament polls. Mohapatra first gave respect to Akhand Jyoti which covered all districts of Odisha demanding CBI enquiry of Swami Laxmananand’s murder led by Hota.
Notably, a news was published in The Pioneer in which it was mentioned that since selfish people like Lekhasri Samantsinghar and Bhrugu Buxipatra were in high positions in the BJP cadre for a long period, BJP could not come to power in Odisha during 2019 despite a heavy Modi wave and possessing lakhs of dedicated party workers.
According to Er Hota, lakhs of workers like him became members of BJP for the last many years only for the solution of problems related to Rastra-Dharma. Their sole aim is not to be an MLA or MP. He said he himself has been a BJP member for the last 23 years. BJP never gave him any top position in the party or tickets to be an MLA or MP.
“I am happy that Mohapatra today came to my home after reading yesterday’s news published in the Pioneer newspaper and if the party could implement my suggestions, then certainly the party's performance in the Assembly and Parliament polls would be improved,” Er Hota said on the occasion.
