National Bal Bhawan (NBB), an autonomous body under the Department of School Education and Literacy, Union Ministry of Education, will organise the Summer Fiesta, an annual programme of the institution, from May 29, to June 28, 2024.
Children from 5 to 16 years of age can enroll themselves in any of the two activities by paying a membership fee of Rupees 200 per annum. "NBB organizes many activities like Creative Arts, Performing Arts and Science Activities. The institute also organises special assemblies for the children every week during Summer Fiesta, where the children are given the opportunity to perform and showcase their talent," said NBB Director Mukta Agarwal.
Agarwal said besides this summer fiesta the campus organises several events and programmes for children and for the last one year the focus has been on Swachh Bharat Mission. Eminent guests are also invited to grace the special assemblies of NBB. There is no membership fee for SC/ST/EWS and differently-abled category children for Summer Fiesta. Bal Bhavan also provides pick & drop transport facility for rupees 800 all over Delhi.
