Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that till 6 pm, 66.50 percent voting took place in all the nine Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies. He informed that 48.23 percent voter turnout was recorded in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 1 Morena, 44.18 percent in No. 2 Bhind (SC), 49.60 percent in No. 3 Gwalior, 60.16 percent in No. 4 Guna, 53.08 percent voting was recorded in Sagar, 59.87 percent in No. 18 Vidisha, 50.16 percent in No. 19 Bhopal, 63.69 percent in No. 20 Rajgarh and 59.63 percent in No. 29 Betul (ST).
Rajan said that voting started at 7 am in all the polling stations. Peaceful voting is taking place in all the polling stations. 90 minutes before the start of voting in the morning, the process of mock poll was conducted in the presence of authorized agents/representatives of the candidates at all the polling stations.

As per the information from CEO office, 73.36 per cent polling was recorded at Betul, 55.44 percent in Bhind, 64.34 in Bhopal, 72.43 in Guna, 62.34 in Gwalior, 58.64 in Morena, 76.19 in Rajgarh, 65.67 in Sagar, and 74.19 in Vidisha.
Official sources said that these percentages of polling might change till late night.
